Hello! I’m Manik Limaye Gargate, a certified Speech-Language Pathologist practicing since 2016. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, Pune, and my Master’s degree from Nair Hospital, Mumbai. I am passionate about helping individuals with speech, language, neurological, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing difficulties improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
Over the years, I have worked across diverse clinical and rehabilitation settings in India with both children and adults. My therapy approach is empathetic, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual’s needs, focusing on measurable outcomes and functional communication. I strongly believe in involving families and caregivers in the therapy process to ensure progress continues beyond sessions. My goal is to empower individuals with confidence, independence, and effective communication skills while contributing meaningfully to their personal growth and development.

Clinical Expertise
I have a strong interest in research and evidence-based clinical practices in speech-language pathology. My research work focuses on speech outcomes, swallowing disorders, neurogenic communication difficulties, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation approaches. I presented papers at INDOCLFTCON and ISHACON on speech and swallowing-related topics and published research on language development in children with cleft lip and palate in the International Journal of Recent Research and Applied Studies. I also presented research at IFNR advocating a multidisciplinary rehabilitation approach and am currently preparing a paper on neurogenic voice disorders for IFNR 2026. My research interests help me integrate updated and effective strategies into clinical practice and online speech therapy in India.

Research Areas
My clinical expertise includes assessment and intervention for speech, language, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults. I have worked extensively with pediatric speech and language delays, hearing difficulties, neurogenic communication disorders, and cognitive communication challenges. My experience also includes managing swallowing difficulties and supporting individuals with neurological and degenerative conditions. Through evidence-based and individualized therapy approaches, I focus on improving functional communication and long-term outcomes. I provide structured and engaging online speech therapy in India, ensuring therapy remains accessible and goal-oriented. I strongly believe in interdisciplinary collaboration and involving families and caregivers to help individuals continue progressing confidently beyond therapy sessions.

Work Experience
I have worked across various clinical and rehabilitation settings in India, gaining experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. I worked as a Manager Audiologist at Quadio Devices Pvt. Ltd., supporting individuals with hearing difficulties. I also served as a Speech-Language Therapist at Sparsh Clinic and Rehabilitation Centre, focusing on pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders. My experience at MH Udhampur, Jammu, involved bedside evaluations and working with neurogenic speech disorders and oral cancer patients. From 2023 to 2025, I worked at Team Physiotherapy in Pune, collaborating with neuro physiotherapists to support individuals with degenerative neurological and cognitive communication difficulties through evidence-based rehabilitation approaches.
