READ RISE PROGRAM

Helping Children with Dyslexia Rise to Reading Success

READ RISE PROGRAM for dyslexia support is a structured, step-by-step reading intervention designed to help children achieve clarity, confidence, and joy in reading—without the fear of falling behind, the pressure to “catch up,” or the shame of struggling in silence.

Many children face difficulties in reading due to conditions like dyslexia, a common reading disorder that affects word recognition and decoding skills. This program is especially designed to address such reading difficulties with care and science.

Reading challenges are not new, but this program is different. Backed by science and led with heart, Read Rise combines expert-led therapy, multisensory instruction, and emotional support in a way that’s deeply personal and profoundly effective. Because every child deserves to rise.

Testimonials

We finally found the right support for our child’s reading difficulties. The team was knowledgeable, patient, and always encouraging

Parent of a 8 year old with dyslexia

Why can't my child read like others in the class?

You know your child is bright, but they struggle to read even simple words while their peers race ahead. This might be due to dyslexia

Homework is a daily battle. You've tried phonics apps, extra classes, even doing the reading for them, yet the frustration and tears keep returning.

You feel lost in a maze of terms: dyslexia meaning, decoding, comprehension—with no clear path forward.

The “just read more” advice isn’t working.

The real challenge isn’t just slow reading or poor spelling. It’s the invisible load, low confidence, misunderstood effort, and a system that doesn't fit how your child learns.

The Read Rise Program was built for families like yours. We combine expert therapy, structured literacy, and emotional support to help your child rise not just in reading, but in belief, expression, and joy.

The Story of
Read Rise Program

Pratiksha Gupta

Founder of Read Rise Program

At 1SpecialPlace, we have worked with thousands of families navigating speech, language, and learning challenges. One common thread that kept appearing was the silent struggle of children with dyslexia.

We saw children who couldn’t decode simple words but could narrate entire stories from memory. Children who could think in pictures but couldn’t spell a three-letter word. And we saw parents desperate for answers and a structured, expert-backed plan.

Dyslexia kya h? It’s often described as a learning disability that affects reading and spelling, but it’s so much more. It’s about how a child’s brain processes language, and how traditional methods often fail to support that.

Read Rise was born out of this need.

We brought together our team of speech-language pathologists, special educators, psychologists, and literacy specialists to build a program that is structured, multisensory, and emotionally safe for children with dyslexia.

Reading is more than just a classroom skill—it’s the foundation of a child’s growth. It shapes how they learn, communicate, and engage with the world. When a child struggles to read, it can quietly affect their self-esteem, their ability to participate, and their confidence across all subjects.

From understanding a storybook to solving a word problem in math, reading is woven into everything. It’s not just about letters and sounds—it’s about identity, expression, and opportunity.

Built on the R.I.S.E. Framework, inspired by the Orton-Gillingham approach, and adapted for India’s unique learning environment, Read Rise is more than a reading class. It is a journey to help children with dyslexia rise in skill, in confidence, and in joy.

How to Support Dyslexia: Build Reading Skills and Rebuild Confidence

The Read Rise Program is a structured, step-by-step intervention designed to help children with reading difficulties and dyslexia symptoms rise academically, emotionally, and confidently.

We don’t just work on decoding or spelling. We focus on building meaningful literacy, emotional resilience, and communication confidence so your child can thrive, both inside and beyond the classroom.

Whether your child is just beginning to read or has already received a dyslexia test, this therapist-led, evidence-informed program is designed to meet them where they are.

What the program includes:

  • Sound-letter awareness

  • Phonics and decoding

  • Spelling and word formation

  • Reading fluency and expression

  • Vocabulary and comprehension

  • Emotional support and motivation

Note: Our approach takes into account the dyslexia etiology—how genetic and neurological factors contribute to the condition. We provide early dyslexia treatment options for best results.

Program Levels:

  • Foundation Level (Ages 6–9): For early readers who are struggling with phonics, basic decoding, and reading confidence

  • Advanced Level (Ages 9+): For older children who need structured support in fluency, comprehension, and written expression

Duration & Frequency:

  • Minimum 6-month commitment for meaningful results

  • 3 or more sessions per week, depending on the severity and child’s individual learning profile

Multidisciplinary, Personalized Care:

  • This is not a one-size-fits-all workbook or app.

  • Read Rise is delivered through live, one-on-one sessions by a team of RCI-certified speech-language therapists, special educators, and psychologists, all trained in literacy and dyslexia support.

SO HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CLASSES

Read Rise Program Vs Others

Aspect
Read Rise Program
Traditional Classes
Impact on life

Builds real-world literacy skills that impact academics, classroom participation, and self-esteem across subjects.

Focuses only on basic decoding or rote reading tasks in a structured setting.

Sustainability

Teaches decoding, comprehension, and vocabulary with strategies children can apply across school years and content areas.

Gains often fade without ongoing support; lacks real-world application.

Emotional Support

Integrated counseling helps address frustration, shame, and low confidence often seen in children with dyslexia.

Rarely addresses emotional or mental health needs; may ignore the psychological toll of reading struggles.

Goal

Long-term growth: reading independence, language expression, and academic empowerment beyond “just reading.”

Limited to short-term fluency or spelling drills; often disconnected from broader learning and communication.

Approach

Structured, multisensory, and individualized using the R.I.S.E. Framework™; backed by Orton-Gillingham and child psychology principles.

One-size-fits-all, worksheet-driven, or phonics-only models; often lacks personalization and consistency.

Our unique R.I.S.E Framework

The R.I.S.E Framework is the basis of the Read Rise Program. It helps children with learning disabilities like dyslexia build not just reading skills, but resilience. Famous personalities have thrived despite this condition—yes, dyslexia famous people like Albert Einstein and Steven Spielberg prove that dyslexia is associated with creative thinking and intelligence, not lack of it.

OUR APPROACH TO BUILDING CONFIDENT LEARNERS

How it Works?

A structured, child-centered approach to reading success for children with reading disorder or dyslexia.

The program blends evidence-based methods, individualized planning, and emotional support, available both online and onsite at our Noida Centre.

Dyslexia causes vary, but whether it's genetic or developmental, we meet the child where they are.

If you're wondering about the dyslexia types, dyslexia examples, or asking, “Is dyslexia a disease?”—know that it’s a neurodevelopmental condition, not a disease. A dyslexia person simply learns differently.

Our program gives every child a chance to shine—one confident reader at a time.

Read Rise is designed to strengthen both literacy skills and self-belief.
