She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, and works with both children and adults facing speech, language, feeding, and swallowing challenges. Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, articulation and fluency disorders, as well as neurogenic communication and swallowing difficulties. Laiba believes in providing individualized, evidence-based intervention while actively involving caregivers to ensure therapy outcomes extend into daily life. Through compassionate care and online speech therapy in India, she focuses on improving communication, confidence, and overall quality of life. Hello! I’m Laiba Parkar, a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. I work with children and adults experiencing speech, language, feeding, and swallowing difficulties, helping them achieve functional and meaningful communication. My passion lies in creating individualized and evidence-based therapy plans that support long-term progress and confidence.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, articulation and fluency disorders, and neurogenic communication challenges. I strongly believe in involving caregivers throughout the therapy process so that communication skills can be practiced naturally in everyday environments. My goal is to provide compassionate, engaging, and goal-oriented therapy that empowers individuals and improves their quality of life.

Clinical Expertise

I have a strong interest in pediatric feeding and communication challenges, with a focus on culturally relevant and research-driven clinical practices. My research work includes the translation and validation of the Brief Autism Mealtime Behavior Inventory in Marathi, helping create accessible assessment tools for children with autism.

My research has been published in a peer-reviewed journal, and I was honored with the Best Research Paper Award at the International Dysphagia Conclave (IDC 2024) for my work on feeding challenges in children with autism. I am passionate about integrating current research into online speech therapy in India and continuously updating my clinical knowledge to provide effective, evidence-based intervention strategies.

My clinical expertise includes assessment and intervention for speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders across pediatric and adult populations. I have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, and social communication challenges. My work includes dysphagia management, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), literacy intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure holistic care.
