Clinical Expertise
My core clinical expertise lies in evaluating and treating fluency disorders such as stuttering and cluttering, as well as speech therapy for autism spectrum conditions. I work closely with children and adults to develop communication skills through personalized, evidence-based interventions. My therapeutic focus includes improving articulation, language development, auditory processing, and pragmatic language use. As a trilingual therapist fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali, I ensure linguistic and cultural relevance in therapy. I also offer parent training and caregiver support to extend learning beyond the therapy room. Each session is designed to enhance participation, confidence, and independence, while maintaining a compassionate and client-centered approach to communication wellness.

Research Areas
My research interests are deeply rooted in the clinical challenges I encounter. I focus on fluency disorders in children and adults, particularly stuttering and cluttering. I also explore speech sound disorders like phonological delays, apraxia of speech, and articulation issues. My curiosity lies in understanding how linguistic diversity impacts diagnosis and therapy outcomes. With extensive exposure to multilingual populations, I investigate how speech-language pathology practices can be adapted for culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) individuals. I actively engage in continuous professional development, attending conferences and workshops on AAC, early intervention, and neurodiverse communication styles, all aimed at enhancing the evidence-based care I deliver in therapy.

Work Experience
Since 2014, I’ve worked across diverse clinical and community settings that have shaped my holistic therapeutic approach. My primary role has been at Hearing Plus Clinic in Kolkata, where I serve as a Senior Therapist delivering personalized therapy for clients of all ages. I’ve also consulted in leading hospitals, private practices, NGOs, special education schools, and government health camps. These roles allowed me to manage a wide range of conditions, including speech delays, auditory processing disorders, and autism-related communication needs. I’ve collaborated with ENT specialists, educators, and psychologists to design interdisciplinary treatment plans that foster long-term communication development and real-life functional outcomes.
