Story of 1Special Woman Awards

Pratiksha Gupta CEO 1SpecialPlace

Pratiksha Gupta

Founder of 1Special Woman Awards

Behind every child receiving therapy, learning to communicate, or overcoming developmental challenges, there is almost always a woman standing strong.

A mother who refuses to give up.
A therapist who believes in a child before the world does.
An educator who creates space for inclusion.
A professional who builds systems that support families.

At 1SpecialPlace, we meet these extraordinary women every day.

We realised that their stories deserve to be celebrated, shared, and honoured.

That is how the 1SpecialWoman Awards were born.

What began as a heartfelt initiative has grown into a powerful platform that recognises women who are creating meaningful change in the disability and inclusion ecosystem.

Celebrating the many ways women contribute to a more inclusive world.
