I am Sandhya Jaiswal, an occupational therapist, and I am deeply passionate about helping individuals achieve independence, particularly within the pediatric and geriatric populations. I graduated from Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Occupational Therapy, and since then, I have dedicated myself to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Throughout my career, I’ve gained diverse healthcare experience, working on cases ranging from Gas Geyser Syndrome to rare genetic disorders like Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. The complexity of these conditions fascinates me and has deepened my appreciation for the transformative impact of occupational therapy. Witnessing how evidence-based interventions can significantly improve a person’s quality of life reinforces my commitment to this field every day.

Work Experience
Dr. Sandhya S. Jaiswal has built a strong professional foundation in occupational therapy through diverse roles in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and telehealth services. She began her career as an intern at Dr. D.Y. Patil Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in acute care and rehabilitation. She then worked as a Junior Occupational Therapist at Step Up Rehab, followed by consultant and senior therapist roles at The Sapphire Clinic. Currently, she also serves as a tele-rehab consultant at Starwalkers Clinic (NDA-Practitioner). Her varied work experience has enhanced her adaptability, enabling her to provide high-quality care across in-person and online platforms, meeting the evolving needs of clients.
