Amruta Tamboli specializes in Pediatric Occupational Therapy, providing evidence-based interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing disorder (SPD), ADHD, learning difficulties, feeding challenges, and developmental delays. With advanced training in Sensory Integration Therapy from the University of Southern California and Dr. Ayres Clinic, she creates individualized treatment plans that support functional independence and participation in daily activities. She believes that movement, play, reflex integration, and sensory-rich experiences are fundamental to healthy development. Her therapeutic approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, empowering children to build confidence, improve self-regulation, enhance motor skills, and achieve meaningful developmental milestones while actively involving parents throughout the intervention process.

Amruta's research interests focus on early intervention, child development, neurobiology, sensory integration, and neurodiversity, with a strong emphasis on translating evidence into clinical practice. She served as a Research Assistant for the standardization of the Guide for Monitoring Child Development (GMCD) at Ummeed Child Development Center, Mumbai, contributing to developmental screening research for community healthcare settings. She has also completed coursework under Dr. Kim Barthel to deepen her understanding of neurobiology and sensory processing. Passionate about evidence-based occupational therapy, she continuously explores innovative therapeutic approaches that improve developmental outcomes, caregiver education, adaptive functioning, and participation in everyday life for children with diverse developmental and neurological needs.

Practicing since 2007, Amruta Tamboli has built extensive experience across leading hospitals, rehabilitation centres, schools, and multidisciplinary therapy settings. She has worked with renowned organizations including Sunshine Special School, Chetana Rehabilitation Center, JBCN Pan International School, Lighthouse Therapy Center, and the Child Guidance Center at Sahyadri Hospitals, Pune. Throughout her career, she has supported children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, and learning disabilities through individualized occupational therapy interventions. Her experience spans clinical assessment, sensory integration, school-based therapy, parent coaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and early intervention programs, enabling children to improve independence, participation, communication, and overall quality of life through holistic, family-centered care.
