I specialize in childhood language disorders, age-related hearing loss, auditory processing disorders, and motor speech disorders. I also provide therapy for fluency disorders, articulation issues, and rehabilitation for cochlear implant users. Being fluent in five languages enables me to design culturally relevant and linguistically tailored interventions, improving engagement and outcomes. My approach is collaborative, involving caregivers and families in the therapy process to ensure skills are carried over into everyday life. By combining clinical knowledge with compassion, I help individuals build the confidence and ability to communicate effectively in any environment.

Research Areas

My research interests focus on advancing knowledge and therapy techniques in language disorders, motor speech disorders, and auditory processing disorder therapy. I am passionate about exploring innovative, multisensory strategies to enhance treatment outcomes for clients with neurological, developmental, and hearing-related communication challenges. My work also examines the relationship between hearing loss and language development, aiming to bridge gaps in early intervention for children and rehabilitation for adults. I believe that research and clinical practice must go hand in hand, allowing new findings to directly influence therapy planning. By actively engaging in research, I ensure my clients benefit from the most current, effective, and scientifically validated methods available in the field of speech therapy.

Work Experience

I have gained diverse professional experience in both academic and clinical settings. At the Manipal College of Health Professions, I served as faculty in the Department of Speech and Hearing, training future professionals and contributing to academic research. I also worked as an audiologist at Amplifon India Pvt. Ltd., where I provided diagnostic assessments, hearing aid fittings, and rehabilitation services to clients with hearing loss. This blend of teaching, research, and hands-on clinical practice has strengthened my ability to approach cases with both theoretical insight and practical expertise. My work continues to focus on delivering holistic, client-centered therapy, ensuring lasting improvements in speech, language, and hearing for individuals across all age groups.
